In addition to scientific WPs, WP 4 carries out stakeholder engagement (internal and external) to guide activities and ensure maximal impact of the project with the following tasks:
- Stakeholder workshops to discuss challenges and results of the project at periodic intervals. Workshop participants include the project partners with expected participation from storage experts from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). The workshops will (i) discuss relevant data needs by WP3 and assist in acquiring data, (ii) discuss results of uncertainty analysis and provide guidance on scenario selection, (ii) discuss results of assessments and portfolio management strategies from WP3.
- Guidance documents for regional modeling of CO2 storage resources. This task will synthesize project results in method development, regional assessment and management strategies, with discussions carried out in Task 4.1 into a set of documents for further dissemination to the CCS community at the project conclusion.
- Roadmap for future technology development. The concepts developed in WP1 and WP2 will form the basis for prioritizing further development towards an interactive, cloud-based solution for regional modeling under uncertainty that is easily integrated in existing workflows. This task will involve targeted workshops with different stakeholder groups that include storage partners (user partners), regulatory agency (NPD) and technology developers (e.g. Schlumberger, Microsoft).
